i am a wizard not a baboon brandishing a stick bitch
WARNING - INTENSIVE HEAVY, WORD VOMIT OF HARRY POTTER-NESS KIND OF ENTRY WITH A MILLION PICTURES. YOU MIGHT WANT TO SKIP THIS ENTRY TOO IF YOU WANT TO AVOID SPOILERS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
I just came home from watching the movie and I am still in disbelief that the movies are actually (and finally) done. This last Harry Potter film was.....unbelievable. Even though the story ended 4 years ago, i felt like I still had the movies to look forward to. But now, the magic really did end tonight for me and the millions of childhoods. A whole generation saying good bye.
I thought the movie REALLY did the last book justice. I waited 5 years, to see the great Hogwarts Battle. 10 years to see R&H finally hooking it up, 5 years to see that duel scene between M&B. To have all that visualized for you on screen is indescribable, and for it to be just as amazing as you imagined it in your head?!?! Again, indescribable.
To also grow up with the actors and actresses that plays the characters is also pretty amazing. Look at the change and transitions, visual:
sheeeesh. look at how HANDSOME they look now.
They were SOOO cute and tiny.
The Snape character was given proper justice in the movie. I think for his scene, i cried the hardest. Probably the hardest ive cried for ANY movie. Its right up there with the Notebook, beating out UP.
And of course, the trio- whom i will miss terribly
“The stories we love best do live in us forever, and whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you forever.”
— JK Rowling.
I know that, its very hard for a lot of people to comprehend why and how this is such a significant. But its very emotional. Something that you have loved for 10 years (hey, longer than ANY relationship ive had with anything/anyone) its not that easy to see it end!!! If you think of it from OUR perspective, we find it very hard to understand why YOU GUYS, don't see the emotional attachment. Someone tweeted:
"lol @ people who have an emotional relationship with the Harry Potter films. They are good, but no need to cry that they are over."
FIRST OFF, i unfollowed that person that said that. Second, well, imagine me saying "Hey, your pet (insert animal here) was good to you too but no need to cry when she/he dies." to you.
..........
Yeah harsh right? That's exactly how we, as HP fans feel when you guys say that to us. It's actually a little hurtful, for me anyways. We don't expect you to understand because it IS difficult to understand but don't make it seem like its a joke (okay so i joke all the time about being a wizard and that there's such thing as *magic*, that's just me being difficult and being a clown haha) and that we are just blowing it out of proportions. Life as it is, is unbelievably difficult and brutal, this for us is just a lil bit of magic that we found. Plus, give it a little credit for its millions of supporters- its gotta fucking mean something right? I hate to compare (and believe me i am able to compare because i am just as hardcore with this series) but being disgustingly OBSESSED with Twilight (the movies) is VERY different from being obsessed with Harry Potter.
Something that’s worth so much in my life, that IS my life actually, has come to an end. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been part of this since its started. i stayed til the very end, the love for it isn't going to fade and i'm proud to be your friendly HP geek.
Life feels that little bit more emptier now. But thanks to all my friends who's been putting it up with this many years. Thanks to twin that got me started and shared the same love for HP with me all this time.
That's the end of this generation for me~
PS. Forgive the awful.....grammar, sentence fragments and unorganized thoughts. Its late and i'm still a bit overwhelmed.

Dating a Gooner
The other day a friend messaged me to catch up and asked whether I was seeing anyone. I laughed, and told her no. I don't have time. Because of work she asked? I told her, No. Futbol.
Ahhhh that must sound SO weird right? But it's actually very true. This year is the year that Arsenal has finally taken over my life completely in all aspects (which annoys the hell out of people....because they don't understand). This discussion has come up many times between A and myself about how we are probably going to be single forever because our criteria (as listed out below) is so strict and there is no guy in this world that fits that description. We are officially screwed. I also DON'T have the time to include a guy who doesn't understand futbol. Its humanly impossible for me to fit futbol, the gym, work (whether it be FT or freelance or both), friends (this part includes partying and drinking) AND a guy into my life. That is, unless that GUY is PART of futbol. Plus, i am so in love with my team that he's gotta understand why sometimes i would have to choose them over him. I mean, my heart is only OH-SO big and there's about 30 of them (team mascot, chef, manager, assistant manager, some reserves team players included). I can only love oh-so many people at once. Not sure if i can include him. haha And vice versa, i'd understand why he chooses his team over me. Compromise, that's what its all about in a relationship isn't it? haha
And of course the usuals- tall, geeky, charming, funny, talkative, troll, smart, has a British accent (Ha. Maybe that's extra). You know, REAL superficial stuff like that.
Or if he wears this-
I'm sold too.
SO LET ME KNOW IF YOU KIDS KNOW ANYONE LIKE THIS! =D
......................
See what i mean. I am destined to be alone forever. Or knowing my luck, l'll find someone that fits all that but he's a giant big SPUD (aka. Tottenham supporter).

BASIC MINIMAL REQUIREMENT:
- He's not going to be pissed that i check my phone every 30 seconds because of Twitter
It would be even better if he had an account himself. But not mandatory
- Watches EPL. Of at least some sort of league. Preferably the English league
This way we won't plan trips or events on days we know there's a game playing. Or he would NOT have ANY issues with me reserving my Saturday and/or Sunday mornings for futbol and understand why i gotta jet on a friday night because i gotta be up early for an early game. One more thing too is lets just say he follows the German league- their games are on at a different time than the English league. This way, this allows both of us to have our ALONE/DOWN time- it works out BEAUTIFULLLY for the both of us and enables us to lead separate (futbol) lives. (Since i deeply believe in still maintaining separate lives apart from each other).
- Mandatory: Cannot support Tottenham Spurs.
I'll create exceptions for ManUtd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Citey. Preferably no.
- And of course nothing beats- being a Gooner.
This way, we won't have any issues raising our kids (if he happens to be zee one) and making them decide at the age 3 which team they must support, mommy or daddys. (im serious).
And of course the usuals- tall, geeky, charming, funny, talkative, troll, smart, has a British accent (Ha. Maybe that's extra). You know, REAL superficial stuff like that.

Why Geeks Makes Good Lovers
Source & Written By: AwkwardthingsisaytoGirls | With add-on comments by moi.
One of the Universal Truths that lie just beyond the fabric of modern society is the axiom that geeks, along with nerds and other peoples who overinvest in intelligence but boast underdeveloped social skills, make the best lovers. Once people realize this, the sexual revolution that will sweep through western culture will make the seventies look like the fifties, and I’m not talking about wider pants. The reasons why geeks are unparalleled as lovers are simple and many:
Geeks don’t sleep around.
Geeks, through their higher IQ and therefore greater understanding of the tragedy of human condition, know that the dice only seem to have more sides on the other side of the table. Hence, they instinctively stay loyal to their lovers through thick and thin. Their social skills are also not well developed enough to support an affair, and frankly, geeks generally aren’t quite sure how they ended up with the lover they have attracted. When you date a geek, you know the geek will be yours until you are done.
When’s the last time you met a geek who didn’t have some secret skill just simmering below the surface of a simple-seeming life, honed in the wee hours of the night? It could be hacking, playing video games, or the ability to insert and remove those stupid computer power plug things from drives without cursing or breaking a finger. Let sex become their new favorite late-night hobby, and you know that a geek won’t quit until he or she has learned how to hack into your brainstem through specific genitalia interfacing in parallel with general dermal and oral bonding.
Geeks became geeks because they chose to spend their time doing things that would not necessarily make them popular with everyone else in school, like sports and fashion. The ability to resist peer pressure is important to a geek. This means that a geek is more interested in their or your happiness than looking good to others, which will come in handy when either (a) you need attention, in any sort ranging from the nurturing to the lascivious, and also, because both of those things are not necessarily unorthagonal dimensions, any combination of the two, or (b) you need to be rescued because it is the climax of a teen 80′s movie. Or both.
Geeks haven’t formed bad habits.
After years of serially dating lots of other women, many socially successful guys have become too confident to be intimate, think of women only for sex, and don’t have any intention of letting what in their minds is “just another girlfriend” enjoy the last spring roll. Let us not even pry into the diabolical, dark, twisted, and depraved mind of the girl who has serially dated many men. None of this is true of the geek, however. The lack of past romantic partners allows the geek to approach lovers with the zest of the neophyte. Geeks are not full of romantic confidence; however, once coaxed from their emotional holes like tame bunnies, they are eager to please and enjoy their newfound relationship.
Geeks can concentrate.
Geeks can focus their energy on one task with the intensity of a hunting cheetah. Granted, the task they are focusing on may have more to do with hunting orcs with a +1 Sword of Piercing rather than hunting gazelles with claws, but the fact remains that a geek, once set upon a task and given Mountain Dew, becomes a tireless slave to their goal. Put a six-pack of Dew on the bedside table and a geek between the sheets, and you have found yourself one relentless lover. When’s the last time all night actually meant all night? When’s the last time you were with someone who, if they needed more of the night, knew how to get it?
Geeks have excellent finger dexterity.
Geeks roll dice. Geeks play video games. Geeks flip pages in books. Geeks type a lot, and use characters like ~ and ^ and | that no one else has any use for. Geeks use calculators in postfix notation. As a result, a geek knows how to use his or her fingers to greatest possible effect. Whether you have a button that needs pushing or a joystick that needs joy, a geek is the person for the job.
Geeks have imagination.
Once you have found your amazing lover, you wouldn’t want things to become boring. That is where geeks prove their real worth. Replayability is important to the value-conscious video-game playing geek, and this translates to relationships as well. Wouldn’t you want to date someone who has created a Quake 3 mod? Wouldn’t you want to date someone who has written steamy Everquest fan fiction involving elven incest? Wouldn’t you want to date someone who wished they were Morpheus rather than someone who wished they were Barry Bonds?
There are plenty of other reasons why geeks are the best lovers around, but don’t just take my word for it. Find the nearest sexy geek and coax that person into asking you out, even if you have to do so using instant messanger. Remember: the only non-sexy geek is a single geek.
// Excellent article if i would say so myself.
Geeks are sexy. Or Geeky looking guys.

I would date Peter Parker (Tobey McGuire would work too) or anyone that looked like the actor that plays Beast (before he turned Blue) in a second. Or John Krasinski. MMM. Yeah.
No judging girls- You people have ALWAYS known my taste to be questionable.

- I actually disagree with this one. Geeks, at the end of the day have penises. If given the chance and could get away with it- like any other male they would take that chance. This also is based on past experience so i am a tiny wee bit biased. I hate men. haha
When’s the last time you met a geek who didn’t have some secret skill just simmering below the surface of a simple-seeming life, honed in the wee hours of the night? - Tis quite true. You geeks are very determined individuals.

- Didn't even think of this one. I suppose it makes complete sense.
Geeks haven’t formed bad habits.

- You can look at this from two perspectives. Why yes, they have magical fingers. But will those fingers find you when there's a raid/mission they need to complete? HA. NO. Gamers are so loyal to their games- NOTHING can tear them away from their beloved characters. Yes, i am VERY bitter when it comes to gaming. Video games ruins lives.
Geeks have imagination.

Breakdown of my Tweets: ILLUSTRATED
Something for you all to look at while i type up an actual BLOG ENTRY FOR YOU ALL TO READ. I already loaded it on twitter (i actually kind of created it FOR twitter) which some of you might have seen already, or might not have.
The purpose of it is to pretty much SHOW followers, what I tweet about. I noticed that after tweeting that im going to Comic Con, the number of.....comic book reader (aka, my beloved Geeks) followers....increased. But the thing is that i actually DON'T tweet about geek stuff all that much and i can imagine the surprise they get when all they see on their TL is ARSENAL, VODKA, ARSENAL, STARBUCKS, ARSENAL. Vice versa, lately i'm sure all my footy Arsenal followers have noticed the INCREASE in GEEK-related tweets (mainly because Comic Con is FAST approaching) and all know that i am in fact a closet geek that loves Big Bang Theory, Marvel, Pokemon and Harry Potter. To avoid the confusion and miscommunication, I thought creating an illustration would let them know, right off the bat that i am more of an futbol tweeter more than anything else. It's just been a bit............slow and dry lately because its off-season. When August hits- sorry kids. Its back!
That said, i REALLY have to give some crazy creds to my non-geek, non-futbol, FRIENDS that follow me on Twitter. You guys have to ENDURE my excessive number of tweet updates and not only that- stuff that you don't understand. I love you guys OH-THAT-MUCH-MORE and thank you tremendously for sticking by me STILL.
Okay without further adieu, im not going waste my precious time typing any more for this entry. Going to work on the MEGA HUGE (sorta) one thats been "Saved" for the entire week.
Hope u like it though!

Huge Nerd Rant
This is a huge, long, COMICS related rant. If you don't understand nor have an interest in nerd talk, it would be wise to just skip it in its entirety.
Out of all the Marvel comics, i gotta say that X-Men is my absolute favorite. It's probably the series that I know most about next to Spiderman and also the first Marvel series that got me hooked on comics. Thus no matter what i WILL be biased and enjoy every film created for this series- regardless of how much they changed up the story and fuks it up. Me. Will. Lurve. (Cyclops). haha. As for this movie, i already know that they've messed up the storyline big time already but i still think its going to be pretty epic. Besides, i'm a huge James McAvoy fan. Him playing Charles Xavier makes Charles Xavier (the character) that much more badass.
Absolutely cannot wait. Two weeks-ish i believe????
Thor
Like all previous comic-related, action movies that no girls are interested (or understand) in seeing and/or movies that have lots to think about/discuss- the boys are the ones i turn to for that. We watched Thor in 3D (because Shadow read reviews that it would be OH-THAT-MUCH better) and i was pretty damn surprised on how good it was. When the initial screen caps for this movie was released last year at Comic Con- i had my reservations on this movie. I mean, just like every other movie before- it's "just" another Marvel comic-to-movie and on top of that, the Thor series never really appealed to me. It was way too mythical for my liking. That said, again- GREAT MOVIE. Even for non-nerds.
Other Superhero movies coming

- I thought the special "effects" were brilliant and just enough (it was not overdone at all).
- The Mjolnir (or the "Hammer") "fight" scenes were SOOO wicked. Omg. Don't judge a hammer. It can fucken blast you away.
- The "fighting" scenes in general were awesome.
- Natalie Portman was a bit of a waste of film space. Her character (in the comics) was significant, but not enough for the movie.
- Sif is HAWT. Her weapon is HAWT. Her fighting is HAWT. HAWT!!! (She was the only she-warrior on the team. THE MOST FIERCE).
- The scenes that linked back to Iron Man II. [[ S.H.I.E.L.D ]]
- All the "Avengers" previews/teasers/references. EXCITEMENTTTTT
- I.e. Hawkeye's appearance. holey, i almost jizzed my pants seeing him with his bow and arrow.
- The "secret" teaser clip after the credits. Clearly we know who's going to be the villain in the avengers movie now. (Loves).
- Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was pretty cute. I especially liked him when he acted all gentleman like. That said though, i was more into his sleazy, greasy, dark-haired, pale, doesnt-get-much sun, evil brother, Loki. Don't ask why. There was something very intriguing about his not so good looking face but oh-so-happening sorcery. I do have a thing for magic and wizards. Heh. (refer to Harry Potter obsession please)
Other Superhero movies coming
- The Avengers
*NERD SCREAM*. Thor's definitely back (for all you Chris Hemworth fans!!). Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr. aka one of the most perfect man in hollywood), Captain America (Chris Evans aka HOT), Hulk (errrr i just like his character). The movie just screams epicness even if the plot is shitttttttttttttttt. - Captain America in 3D|Chris Evans (the actor playing him) is sexy. Enough said. I personally don't like the Captain America series but hey, its marvel and sexy guy is playing that role. No loss.
- Green Lantern
It's the one with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Ahhhh it looks disgustingly CG-ed and its DC (im sure by now its obvious i perfer Marvel over DC)....but i'm curious about how its going to turn out. I do love hearing him say his oath though. It's sexy.

Allergies are killing me slowly
ZINGGGGGGGGG. BWAHHA I laughed out loud at several pics. Creative, no?
I noticed this while i was cutting up slices of lemons earlier for my water. Shit, talk about being scared. Not good for future wife duties. Might have to tell future husband to hire someone to cut stuff for me. That or future mister is gonna be doing all the slicing, dicing and chopping.
Observation made this morning- I cannot drink red wine for the life of me.
A and i had our WAG evening last night and somehow we went through two bots of white and decided to go for more by drinking a newly vintage red she opened recently. I ALWAYS knew that i can't drink reds but i heard this thing about how its only certain Reds that would get you shtfaced (aka the cheap ones) and the real exquisite ones won't give you ANY hangovers. Needless to say i have yet to sample any exquisite ones because i always wake up feeling like DEATH. So yes, i woke up feeling like death today. There's no room for ambitions when it comes to drinking. I should remember that.
Noted people. NOTED.
Currently working on S&N's engagement present. On a friday night. Running into construction issues. I hate running into issuessss. If you're reading this dear, I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!! <3
- I should also clean my room. Its getting dutty and chaotic again.
Ha, and today i was at FMP and bought myself a large bag of those......salty plum snack munchie thingys (Wa Mui's for all you chinks). The lady actually asked me if i was preggos.
.................
BWAHHAHA i just looked at her with my "are you fucking with me" glare. She added quickly though, "Not that u look it. Its just that only pregnant girls buy this much". Good thing she did because she would have received a cussing from me! So apparently non-preggo girls cant munch on salty snacks no more. PREJUDICEEEEE. Not going back. EVER.
Shit its 2am.
OUTZ.

Quick Story
Once Upon a Time there lived a dork who was unemployed.
All her life, lady luck has never been her friend. She knows shes unlucky, but she really didn't think she was THAT unlucky.
I mean, all the jobs that she's had in the past were cut short either due to shortage of work, lack of budget, douchebag for a boss, and end of contract.
It's not ALLLLL completely related to bad luck right?
So here she is, with a variety of experience, a wealth of skill sets and a vibe of desperation (because she needs money).
Then here comes the wave of job interviews.
But none of them works out because she either fucks up, not fit for the company, did not do her research/prep work, and was not hired because she was holding a temp job that she could not leave.
Again, not really about luck right? Perhaps bad timing...........and maybe a bit of bad luck too.
But she's still persistent and determined!
Over the past 2 weeks she's just been mindlessly applying for jobs in which she figures its worth a shot to send something in but not expecting a call back. All while working on her areas that needs improvements.
Three days ago her laptop did not turn on. Friends of the dork suspected it was a battery/power supply issue, the techs says it might be a motherboard issue.
Two days later one of those companies whom she applied to two weeks ago e-mails her back asking for an interview. Also listed in that e-mail is a whole LIST of specific things they would like to see from the dork.
But the dork's laptop is in service. The tech people said the return date is in 7- 21 days.
The dork's interview is in 5 days.
So now she has about 4 and a half days to replicate and re-create A LOT of her projects for this job interview. All the while learning some new advance skills to hopefully be able to knock the socks off of the THREE people whom will be interviewing her (includes an Art Director, a Senior Affiliate Coordinator and Director of Sponsorship Sales).
Yes, the dork concludes she has the worst fucking luck in he world.
Or rather, lack of.
Or rather, lack of.
...................
Story of my life. Story of my FUCKING LIFE PEOPLE. UGHHHHH
Please wish me good luck. I NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please wish me good luck. I NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 day -you- challenge ; Loves
The four obvious:
- Family
My life. Enough said. - Friends
Girlfriends whom are like sisters, boys who makes me laugh and drunk - key people required in my life. I cannot be more thankful. - Futbol/Arsenal
This has officially earned a #3 spot (not that this list is ranking my loves in order) because it has become that big of a part in my life. Whether its for the game, the guys, my team - anything related to it, J'TAIME! I mean if i am able to give up eating octopus and squid until 2014, it's GOTTA be love yo. - Food
Maybe this is why i will never be able to get skinny because i don't really believe in cutting anything out. I would eat poutine every day of my life if i can. My happy level depends on my food intake. Feed me and my happy level soars!
Bhahah didnt even notice they all start with F's. Moving on.
- Blackberry
I am perhaps one of the biggest crackberrys ever. I've walked into doors, tripped over benches, honked at in parking lots, been grabbed - ALL B/C.....i'm always paying attention to my phone. The only other person i would say that comes close to being as obsessed as i am is probably annnbug. And maybe J too since he does my blueberry tri-monthly maintenance work. But i love it. It's my life. Defines who i am. - Design
Design is so vague, broad and subjective that its hard to say what i mean by "design" being a love for me. It can be defined in so many ways but i'm not exactly sure how to articulate it so i'm going to leave it to yours imagination to figure what "design" is. Either way, its a love of mine. - Blogging
I have blogging since Monday, January 03, 2005. That's six years that i have not abandon documenting my life because I absolutely love blogging. I love sharing my thoughts for others to read and i don't mind others knowing more about me because i really have nothing to hide. I'm probably not as funny in person though. Snickers. Its my love for blogging that drives me to take the time out of "job searching" time to type up something or share something for those who come by my blog. No doubt that blogging is a love. - Potatoes + Cheese + Gravy = Poutine
Who doesn't know that i love poutine? Shiet i just revealed (yesterday) that i use to drink that meat juice as soup! That said the three top food categories (yes they have their own categories according to MY food pyramid) in my life all happens to be in ONE dish, God is good to me. That's gotta be love. - I can't think of a #9.....so skip to #10.
- Fashion, manicures & pedicures, caesars, paper, shopping, post-it notes, shoes, tequila, weddings, hardcover books, typography, sad chinese/mando music, starbucks, facebook, harry potter, fairytales, smell of sharpie markers, photography, wine, scarves, myself, ribbons, make-up, megaupload, office supplies, piano or strings music, vintage anything, twitter, Pandas, mcNuggets, twilight, text messages, fat things, honey, bookstores, calligraphy, toys....................is love.
Yay done! Now to jump over to my soccer blog to blog there! lol
