The most important thing I realized is that painful breakups, unrequited love, shitty jobs and the like help us to BUILD CHARACTER and that no matter how bad it feels, we are much better off because of it. Sometimes you have to stand alone to make sure you can. Forget what you want to remember what you deserve. You may not end up where you thought you'd be, but you'll always end up where you were meant to be. You can either let these bad things, define you, destroy you or strengthen you. Fight through it like a warrior. Greater things are to come.

Mobile Blogging. Sort. Of. Not Really. SOBS.

Okay this is not so much MOBILE blogging because i am typing in the notepad and will be "emailing" it to this blog.|

This is my plea of how disconnected i feel from the world. As of GOD KNOWS WHEN, my blackberry data service has been LOST/OUT/GONE/DEAD. I consider lack anything longer than 2 minutes- TORTURE. Even though I may have the internet, but they blocked Twitter, Blogspot/Blogger, Facebook (Obvs) and even TUMBLR!!!! So i cant tweet/update status and this is the most creative way i came up with as means to communicate with the outside world. I have absolutely no idea what is going on outside of my cubicle. Are people wondering if i am DEAD?!?!? Did the world stop spinning? Ohmygawd i am going INSANE.
The fact that my manager is working from home today doesn't help because i have zero things to do and the stuff she has left for me i finished before noon! The one day I can chat on day on my bb i can't even do so!

My only source of comfort is that they did NOT block Yahoo Sports (thnx god) so I can follow my soccer game's play by play in approximately 3 minutes.

On top of that, i just learned that i have to edumahcate myself on how to use Microsoft Publisher. AKA. INDESIGN FOR NON-CREATIVE PEOPLE.

!@#$%&!!! FAK.

Does it make me a retard if i find Publisher harder to use than InDesign!?! (Okay l'l answer my own question- I THINK SO). Omg i wish they would just let me design it in InDesign. I would even do it on my own time.

Come onnn Rogers EDGE. COME BACK.

Feet hurts

Day 3 in Montreal and I am...so exhausted. And I mean that in pretty much all aspect lol I have had...12 hrs of sleep since Thursday!!! So far the trip has been quite fabulous. Clubbing two nights in row, tonight will make it three. I am so "drinked" out its not even funny lol Last night was unbelievably INSANE. Ram and the guys joined us (after watching the disgusting defeat of the Cabs) and as always there's lots of fun things to be said bout their bunch, when drunk...and with us drunk too, is epic. Good timessss.

Currently tanning in the hotel "terrace" or...outdoor lounge area. Blogging. Drinking Starbucks (thnx to Lil that got up and did an sb run for us) and refraining from thinking way too much. (Not working)

Ok. Pits sweating. Good day to all!

Reality?

It could be...the alcohol. It could be..the fact that I'm thinking too much. Thus emo blogging and possibly subjected to deletion when I'm back in toronto.

But it hit so hard tonight. For the first time.

The optimistic perspective/facade disappeared? And all I saw was....an empty future. I saw a dark blue sky with no light. No hope. A sunrise that was promised to me but will never come.

And it hurt so much. Crying in the hotel corridor b/c I was too scared to "wake" the other girls is my first extreme.

I don't know a damn thing anymore.

On-the-go Blogging/Bitching

Yawns. I'm currently at the Pension/Old Age Security Canada Office with zee mother and grandma to get an address change. We've been waiting for about 45mins (and counting) to get a simple address change. Omgoddd. What in the world is going on in the "back" that is taking soooo long.

NO IDEA.

Unbelievable. Its either there's some old age security crisis they need to tend to for the Prime Ministers grandma that requires ALL on-duty employees or all the damn workers are waiting for their freaking Timmiez and aren't moving their asses until they get it!!!! I have already "kindly helped myself" (took) all the available "employment" resources for my brother, printed plenty of job listings for myself, brother and father (the Pension/OldAge office is shared with Employment Canada) and almost finished my Sb tea ON TOP of the waiting - almost no change in the sequence of people who were here before us. Only 2 people were served. GAHH.

There's also a guy here that's walking around helping the patrons on the computers. Clearly he works for the government too. He came up to me too and asked if I needed help. The first thing I thought was how much was he paid (must be plentifuls!!!!!), not what I should answer him (a polite no thanks).

I along with the many people I know, we hold a strong stereotype biased against Government workers and feel like they are snooty and enjoys taking their time doing nothing....while being paid quite "healthy"-ly. All workers should be paid healthyyyyyyyyyy like these........I just saw a man walk to the back carrying newspapers and lots of timmiessss.

ARGHH CAUGHT. I WAS RIGHT.

Wells. Since I can't join em. I can only hate. Haaaa

Okay Bye.

UPDATEEE

Ok so it was finally our turn just now and the address change took literally 3 minutes. Why? Because they actually received prior notification from Revenue Canada about the address change but they were unable to "accept" (and chose to IGNORE IT) it because the person (my grandma) has not come to confirm this with them (being Pension/OldAgeSecurity). Um. I would think if one side of the government has already verified and approved of the change, why would the other side not trust that? Talk about INEFFICIENCIES. OMGG. So I literally think all she had to do was click a CONFIRM button and there goes my morning!!!!!I lost my morning to a CLICK OF A BUTTON. ( I hate being SO dramatic but i really could have been doing something else and saved almost 7 bucks in bus fare cuz i paid for both my mom AND my grandma).

That said, after being helped and on our way going home my grandma did not stop raving to my mom about how:
"lek" (successful/good/smart)
"see mun" (polite/courteous)
and "lang" (pretty)
the Chinese girl that did the CLICKING for us, was. I suppose comparatively, i am pretty not lek, not lang and really not that see mun. In fact im quite cho lo (butch, mean, rough). I can definitely see why my grandma preferred the clicky girl. Bleh&sighs.

Oh and btw. during my walk towards/out from the "back", I noticed people mingling with timmies in one hand and trail mix in the other.

....

Government of Canada you fail.
(But I would still love to work for u and maybe show my grandma i can be "lek" too....)

Negative 50

I think the couple across from me should stop making out and concentrate on figuring how they're gonna keep warm when they off the bus because the girl is wearing a skirt with sheer tights and both are seriously wearing what looks like SPRING jackets (with no hood) in what feels like negative 50 weather. AND to top it off, they actually have to go findddd their friends house so its not like they're gonna hop off the bus and get into a house immediately. (Yeah i got all that from eavesdropping with my super spy skills and creepy tendancies).

Seriously, nobody cares about their toes and fingers anymore.

Ok putting mittens back on.

Lack of Lappy

For the past almost two weeks, I've been laptop-less and still ammm without a laptop even tho D has fixed it for me already (thnxU thnxU!). Anyways, you would think I would have gone bonkers like I normally would but in fact I've been pretty alright without it.

For the first time in a very long time I've been able to curl up in my bed and read until bedtime and then actually sleeping early instead of stalking wedding blogs or someone. Its quite nice actually because I've been also able to do things that I've been procrastinating from doing around the house and in my room. The only crappy thing is the absolute boredom I experience whenever I straighten my hair. For those who don't know but it actually takes me about 2 hrs to dry/straighten my hair and time normally flies when I have a drama on or an episode of Criminal Minds playing. Otherwise...its been a nice change to be away from a computer.

I think after I get my laptop back I'll make the effort to close it at a certain time to give my brain and eyes a rest away from the screen and more time focused on reading....whether it may be Harry Potter (for the tenth million time) or The Host (which I should start)...or what I've been reading for the past two nights, my Harry Potter fanfiction (the very same one that nearly made me fail two exams b/c I'd rather read this than study in previous years)!!

Ahhhhh for all you HARRY POTTER fans, I highly recommend you reading the fanfaction "Crossroads". I don't know who the author is even though I am fairly suspicious whether it was JK Rowling herself that wrote this Lily/James Potter story because it is THATTT GOOOD.

OHHHHHTAYYYYY. Enough of my geeek spasm there.

Double Winterlicious lunches coming up this weekend! I am tres tres excited to see the boys..especially after bumping into A the other day!! Gah I miss seeing him so much and I swear I would have jumped him if I did know it would be horrribly awkward hahaha Then the day after the girls...not to mention all the freaking food I'll be consuming :D

This weekend was the Interior Design Show and roaming DT with the mister. Judging by our preferences in certain areas of the show/design...It is very obvious that there willl be major design clashes the day we move out....which will be sooooo blog-worthy Haha <3

Now. Gonna finish up my chapter before turning off the lights for work tommorrow.

Groans.

Blogging on the bus

This morning I was actually not planning on getting up so early for BodySteps and decided subconsciously that I will go in the afternoon instead. I dreamt that I was debating this and for some reason I took my dream seriously and decided to get up to go for an early afternoon workout (in my dream it was 130) to discover that it was actually 915am and I was fully awake and reved up........argh. And that was how I was able to make it to my Steps class.

On the way to the gym on the 53, first came the BIG old lady that attempted to sit on me by completely ignoring my presence. I felt her big bum on my hands/arms. I didn't even have time to block her and I guess she knew she failed when she gave a nice big HHHHMMMMPFFFF.

Second was the Chinese girl that dressed like a star on Bang-your-chinese-takeout.com or something. Ripped stockings, 8inch leather platforms, tight skirt that was actually see-through, heavy makeup. Very pretty face tho.

Argh and a guy just poked me with his vinegar bottle.

Anyways back to my story. As I was about to shoot her my "Ur-such-a-hoe-what-would-ur-parents-think-argh-argh-but-u-have-such-a-pretty-face-and-nice-fit-body-and-im-jealous-and-hate-u-but-still-think-ur-a-hoe-argh" look, I noticed how beautifully curled her hair was so I then proceeded to stare at her hair in a rather-brokeback way. It was major fail.

Off the bus I go when I reached my club and while walking in this little older lady walks in front of me, decked in reallly nice Lululemon and adidas gear. I felt sooo unfit and shameful cuz the lady in front of me is probably older than my mom but she's so much more fit than I am....more hip too.. (In style and probably has better hips than me)

It also kinda reminded me of the 70 year old at J's gym that can do the splits.

And we both can't. lol

Shame shame on all of us young kids.

Yay finished just in time at my stop. Outsss.

Owwie

I think I went a little too hardcore during the combat track in Body Combat today and totally pulled/strained my right hip muscle. Arghhhh I've been currently laying on my left side and belly since 9 with a magic bead pack thingy you use for sore anythings- on the hip. All while doing my nails, watching Peter Chao (Pyrobooby) vids on Youtube ON my blueberry (b/c of a lack of lappy) and having a facial mask on.

I suppose this all would have been really relaxing if there wasn't so much pain shooting in my hip.

Anyways in the middle of watching Pyrobooby, I thought of a brilliant goal motivator for myself. Basically starting this week, if I attend a total of 18 gym sessions, at the end I get to buy myself something from Lululemon. What better way of encouraging me to work out more than to reward myself with shopping AND keeping fit at the same timeee! Telling myself "Looking good" and/or "to look awesome for the beach" clearly isn't doing its job seeing I've been saying it for the past 8 years and I still lack (and exponentially far far away) the janet jackson machine gun abs.

I am quite a smart cookie aren't i.

Alright I'm at two! Sixteen to gooooooo.

After I recover first though.

Moans.

3:30am

Its early in the morning. I'm laying in bed, blogging on my blueberry and still stressed to the max. Even though I have a million and one negative things going through my head, there's one thing that literally gives me the strength to face those million and one things.
That said I want to tell the world how much I love Lx. Thank you for putting up with me.
Okay done.
